The Butterfly Nursery will help my students identify and learn the stages of the butterfly life cycle. Having these materials will give my students a visual representation and experience of the growth and life of the butterflies. The Butterfly Nursery will also enhance my students' learning experience through their vocabulary and hands-on knowledge. This activity will make a difference in my students' lives because they will get to see first hand how the caterpillars transform to a chrysalis and then to an actual beautiful butterfly. By studying the butterfly cycle the students will learn and engage in the pre-literacy skill of sequencing.
