My classroom is a 6th grade language arts room. While the walls remain mostly bare, we're slowly filling them with art and with student work. Each student in my room is valued, and they know it. We love to read out loud together, and sometimes they just let me do the reading! I strive to make learning the ins and outs of the English language interesting, unfortunately, grammar can be dull. That's why we do so much reading and writing - it's much more fun to spot grammar in the wild! I have 4 blocks of wonderful students. We've got a large inclusion population, which makes practical, real-world reading and writing so important. As a teacher of language, I am often struck by how thoughtful and creative my students are. By contributing to our classroom, you're directly showing students just how important literacy is! We thank you!
