This is the second year in my current classroom. Moving from 5th grade to 2nd has been a joy in every way possible. I have so many students who show up every day wanting to learn. I want to provide these students with the best of everything. In order to provide classroom materials, and a comprehensive 2 nd. grade library, I was given $200.00. It was a daunting task to decide where best to spend my funds. After looking at my depleted library due to the shift in grade levels, I focused in on more books. Wow, did the money go quickly. I scoured yard sales and thrift stores to bulk out the classroom selection without breaking my bank. Then an educator told me about this organization. I have been able to provide hundreds of quality books that drive the interest of my students due to donors like you. Reading is the core foundation of learning. I will be able to offer this variety thanks to your support.
