STRIVE prep is building a new ARTS curriculum. Our students have had limited access to arts education. These tools would provide students with the opportunity to create a painting with the necessary and proper tools. Not only will they learn how to care for their materials but use them to create an original piece of artwork. Painting fosters our creative side and nurtures emotional growth. Students will study color theory, care and use of materials and how painting is used to visually communicate. The project focuses around the human connection to the creative process and how we can manipulate materials to create voice.
