The costume closet at our middle school has, for years, boasted hundreds of costumes containing vintage pieces, wedding gowns, hats, character costumes. You name it we had it! We used this closet to fully outfit our school plays and musicals, keeping our costs down, and without having to charge an activity fee. Due to an extreme cold snap in New England weather this January, a pipe burst in the costume closet, destroying EVERY SINGLE ITEM including our sewing machine. While we are looking to replace everything we can, we are focused on our production of Bye Bye Birdie in the fall - something we already had our costumes for, and were not expecting to incur an expense for. The musical showcases 100 students. Any help we can find is immensely appreciated by our community!
