Please help me make a difference by improving the learning experiences of my students. Studies have shown, that students who are engaged using real life content are more interested in the learning. These items will allow me to incorporate topics and content that are relevant to their middle school lives, while providing opportunities to interpret the target language in a fun and engaging way. Realia or authentic materials will give me the opportunity to expose my students to the language in a real life way. Listening to music and interpreting the lyrics is just one way that students can work on their reading skills while having fun! These items will allow students to show what they know in ways that go beyond paper and pencil.
