Options of flexible seating in my classroom will allow students to choose the seating/learning environment that works best for them. Right now my students sit on regular plastic desk chairs in our classroom. Having a choice of seating when doing their school work would enable students to strengthen their core, while strengthening their minds! Stronger cores, stronger minds! Flexible seating gives students the opportunity to bounce, wiggle, stand, or sit. The balance balls will allow the students to bounce while reading, writing or collaborating, and in turn, the bouncing and wiggling back and forth will strengthen their core. Two for one! Students who feel comfortable in their learning environment are the ones that are comfortable learning! Thank you for considering my project.
