With a reliable laptop, kids will have the opportunity to apply for colleges with assistance right behind them in the classroom. I will gladly advise kids on what colleges to apply to based on their personal endeavors. I strongly believe something as small as a lack of a platform to apply to a college should not have authority to stunt the growth of these students; they all deserve access to college education. I, as well as other students reaching for college, will be able to guide ones who did not have college in their future trajectories by assisting them in college application essays, sending required documents, pressing submit on college applications, and teaching them to build resumes for interviews. The laptops that we strive to provide to the students that need them can potentially change a students life before and during college. With a MacBook, even after college. The district provides laptops; however take them away during the summer, along with the student's hard work. This laptop can help one or many students continue the momentum they had in high school through college. Where would many of us be without college? They don't deserve to be there either.
