In my classroom, we currently don't have Uni-fix cubes to support our math learning. My kids LOVE working with manipulatives and would benefit from having the Uni-fix cubes to use during a variety of math lessons. Having hands-on supplies help kids, especially struggling students, build concrete understanding of math concepts. Our class spend lots of time each day exploring math concepts independently, in small groups, and as a whole class. The Uni-fix cubes we are hoping to have in our classroom are brightly colored, connect together, and are incredibly engaging for the students. They will be extremely beneficial for my class to see the "putting together" of cubes for addition, "taking away" for subtraction" and grouping of tens for place value.
