Most students are not exposed to technology and with the way education is going, students need to be able to navigate through technology and know that there are SO many resources on there for them in order to succeed due to the deficit they have had in reading and math in the past. My students will use these tablets daily to further instruction in centers and in small groups. The students will be able to use the tablets to go on KhanAcademy.org and iReady so they can do extra practice at their own individual math level or reading level. The tablets will help students close the gap of reading and math so they can be on grade level for 5th grade. Also, the tablet has many apps and games that my students will be able to play to enhance their learning in reading and math. This will help students enhance their learning through videos and online work. They will be exposed to computer based test which we do not have a classroom set of computers so not every student is able to use technology daily in the classroom. Each student will practice typing which they will need to do on the state test, in order to pass the 4th grade
