My students are in desperate need of calculators. We have a minimal supply of older calculators that are quickly dying a slow death. When teaching Pre-algebra skills, the use of calculators becomes increasingly important. Calculators help with computational skills, story problems, and two + step equations, which otherwise can become overwhelming for some students. Calculators are used as a tool to help students with independence and to assist in optimizing students abilities. I want my students to be able to have the tools necessary to complete problems that otherwise may seem like too much. I want my student to succeed!

About my class
