Hello! I am a second-grade teacher at Parkwood Elementary School, located in Durham, North Carolina! Parkwood is a Title I school educating 580 students of all kinds, grades Pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Our class is bonded together by seventeen students with diverse backgrounds such as nationalities, demographics, cultural experiences, language expertise, talents, and interests! With this, our class has created a healthy classroom culture. Our classroom culture is made up of trust and acceptance which has crafted the foundation for a positive and empowered learning environment where every student can maximize their full potential!
