Students will be using the clay and glazes to make ceramic bowls. The project will be the first time many students have a chance to interact with clay. The students will be able to explore using clay and receive guided instruction when completing the final project. Doing ceramics will enrich children's lives by exploring a new form of art and improving their motor skills through the soothing process of clay. Ceramics is hard for students to do on their own outside of school because of the need of a kiln. The school has a kiln provided and all we need are the materials! With your help, we will be able to provide enough materials for a whole grade level.
