Flexible seating allows for a classroom of students taking ownership, showing independence, and having comfortable learning! Students are allowed to take charge of their learning while making responsible choices. They quickly recognize how they can be most successful in the way they learn and, in turn, lead their learning! We currently have limited options for flexible seating but the extra options would help meet the needs of every child within the classroom. I notice student engagement skyrocketing when they are comfortable and are given choice in the way they can learn. Every child has unique needs and it is so important to provide different options to help increase student success! Flexible seating would not only benefit my class this year, but every student I have the privilege of teaching in years to come! Please help our class increase their choices while maximizing the levels of engagement within our classroom environment!
