This table will allow me to meet with students in a way to help facilitate their learning. The horseshoe table will allow me to work with kindergarten students in a small group, and one-on-one, to make a bigger impact on their instructional needs. By working with a small group, I am able to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each individual student. Because of the shape of this table, I will be able to instruct students and provide immediate feedback to the individual student. I will be able to observe and help students right away. This table will be used for both literacy and math small groups. Students will also be able to use this table to work one-on-one with a parent or volunteer, or with another student.
