My students have sensory and motor needs. Often times the students are unable to sit still and focus on the task they are assigned to complete. Students who need quiet time away from others will have a place to go have a break in the quiet cube. This will allow them to refocus and reset for more learning. The wiggle chairs help students maintain focus while working on the tasks given to them that are related to their goals. By donating to this project you will be helping remove unnecessary difficulties for these students and help them get through their school day. Allowing them to wiggle and move or sit in their own space away from others I believe will contribute to their individual success. It is amazing what they can achieve when they have correct tools in place!
