Art is a way to discover more about yourself and about diverse culture and people. With these supplies my students will be able to experience different types of art. The students can learn about different cultures by creating in their art styles. We are going to look at Native American art by painting Native American designs. Students are going to be able to use their hands to create pottery. We are going to look into the history of pottery and how pottery is made today. We are also going to use Van Gogh's and Frank Webb's water color art and learn about the history behind them as we make our own art. We are going to use clay to help make dioramas of books we read. The makers and crayons will help with fractions by illustrating. I am planning to use art in every way possible!!
