Welcome to my teacher page! I am a speech-language pathologist who works for District 75 in the NYC Department of Education. If you're not familiar with D75, it is a specialized city-wide district that provides educational, behavioral, and vocational support for students with: developmental disabilities, emotional challenges, significant cognitive delays, and multiple physical disabilities. Each school year, I have the opportunity to work with amazing students whose grade levels range from Kindergarten to 5th grade. My students often have complex communication needs and benefit from the use of augmentative/alternative communication in order to express themselves. Despite the challenges they face, my students are some of the hardest working people I know. They are also some most loving, sincere, and unique young people I have ever met!
