My students will have the opportunity to use these STEM kits in small groups. These hands on experiences will allow the students to come up with a plan, carry it out, see if it works and make improvements where needed. These chances to see things another way and gain confidence in their thinking is invaluable, and that confidence carries over into their other learning experiences. Learners need these hands on experiences to help them become confident thinkers. My kids learn from each other. That small group interaction, learning to voice your ideas, learn to disagree and cooperate, are life long skills
