The students will be using these guided reading materials every day in order to increase their proficiency in their English Language Skills. At our school, we have created a program that is designed to provide information and strategies about how to help students at home with homework and curriculum-related activities. These two sets of requested leveled books will assist parents in being more involved in their education. Eagle Family Nights Program- Play to Learn Groups facilitates sessions that offer individuals a chance to learn strategies to empower themselves with the ability to assist their children at home. The guided reading materials listed above will be used as a bridge between home and school by allowing students to take home these books and share with their families. The guided reading materials we are hoping to receive will also provide one-on-one guidance, support, and suggestions for making families an integral part of their student's school career.
