Scholars in the 5th grade are working towards taking more ownership of their learning. Therefore, we are focusing on personalized instruction . As we begin our next module, scholars will engage in Project Based Learning activities to further promote student ownership. To actively participate in tasks and promote cognitive engagement in activities they will need multiple resources to best facilitate learning experiences. Britannica Launchpack for Social Studies provides access to multiple tools to deepen their knowledge of content. Also, allows scholars to access content at their own pace and meeting their individual learning needs. As a result, 5th graders will engage in blended literacy lessons that include articles and artifacts to access electronically.
