Currently, the school does not have a library/media center. There is a room with books, but it needs to be organized and more hands-on learning materials are needed. I am looking to create a library/media center where the students can come and learn through books, technology, and other hands-on materials. My vision for the library/media center is for it to be a learning commons with many various opportunities for learning. Creating hands-on learning activities around literacy will help to make their learning experiences more meaningful. Such materials as puzzles sets, Kanoodle the game, and block sets, will help to enrich the students in various ways. Providing hands-on learning activities will allow the students to explore their ideas and express their own creativity.
