In many Title 1 schools, organization is often an afterthought. But in today's world, our graduates must be prepared to have systems and strategies for staying organized. This is one of the goals of AVID. 5 subject notebooks will support my students' in learning about organization. To support their organization, I have also asked for sticky notes to support their annotating strategies. Additionally, I asked for pencils and a sharpener, so that they can arrive to their advanced and honors classes prepared. Finally, chart poster and markers will help us to create learning experiences together, particularly for our collaborative learning experiences in AVID.
