In my classroom we practice effective listening and speaking daily so that students can become better communicators in the 21st century. The Microsoft Surface Go will not only engage my speech therapy students as they drill and practice their therapy electronically, but the addition of technology would give my students a much needed boost of practice and confidence in the area of speaking. Research has shown that students who are confident in their listening and speaking abilities will be ready to face the challenges of higher education and the workplace. It is always a pleasure witnessing students learn using cutting edge technology.
