This project will allow my students to monitor their blood pressure. Knowing their blood pressure allows my students to see how their breathing and other physiological factors are affected by daily activity. This can help them to recognize stressful experiences as well as those that help to lower their blood pressure. Students will participate in station activities that will guide them in learning how to take their blood pressure and how different activities raise or lower their blood pressure. Students will participate in a reflection that will allow them to recall past happy and stressful situations and how to navigate them in the future.
