For many of my students, the ability to initially purchase and maintain resources to assist them learn on a daily basis can be a barrier in their educational experience. This project is focused on stocking my classroom with essential educational resources so that students can borrow pens, pencils, and other educational resources so that they can focus their efforts on learning. The major item being purchased is an electric pencil sharpener, as students currently have to leave the classroom to sharpen their pencils. By purchasing more dry erase markers I am also looking forward to integrating more student participation when utilizing the white boards within my classroom. The goal of this project is to develop a collection of supplies that students can access promptly so that their learning is not inhibited as a result of financial pressures they may be facing.
