My Project is to provide alternate seating to a traditional desk and chair. Research has shown that flexible seating options help students increase their attention spans which also lead to increased achievement. It helps students with ADHD, Autism, and other special needs. These students are better able to concentrate and thrive in the classroom. By choosing a learning seat style, children develop a sense of community, build social skills as well as encourage them to take responsibility for their learning. Children who are able to take responsibility for and in their education is a large factor that motivates students to want to come to school and be successful learners.

About my class
