This class set of seven Dell Chromebook laptops will ensure that students have guaranteed access to a computer when they embark on the college application journey. Students will use the laptops to write personal statements, complete applications, apply for financial aid and scholarships, scan and submit documents, complete student housing forms, and most importantly, complete classroom projects, and get accustomed to using a laptop as an essential academic tool they will need in college. College applications and scholarship applications should never be completed on a cell phone, yet that is often the only option my students have due to lack of resources at our inner city public school in San Francisco. Seniors at my school do not have sufficient access to computers when they need it most. Often students ask if they can use my teacher laptop to complete their applications.
