This year will be my first year teaching in a dual language classroom. We are in dire need of Spanish literature, as well as classroom basics. We will be using the many Spanish language books for read alouds, and in stations, such as read to self and read with a bilingual partner. This much needed material will help my EL students excel in fine tuning their Spanish language, this will also help my Spanish learners begin their journey in acquiring the Spanish language. I have a sink in my classroom without a paper towel dispenser. We will use the Kleenex hand towels to dry our hands periodically throughout the day as work hard to keep a germ free environment. We will use EXPO markers in our daily writing and math lessons and stations that have been printed on cardstock and laminated using the thermal laminating pouches. The bingo game will be used to gain and reinforce basic spanish vocabulary. All these items will be most helpful for the beginning of this school year.
