Every year I set up my classroom with different group work areas or centers. I typically will have three different centers for group work. Each center is always occupied by an adult aide or teacher, whom the students will engage with. However, we do not have room dividers for the centers to help minimize the distractions and increase student learning. Therefore, their learning time falls short because they're so easily distracted. If my classroom had room dividers, my students will be more academically focused, engaged and productive. Every student in my classroom will greatly benefit from the dividers. The dividers can also be used to help my students calm down if they feel anxious or frustrated. Thank you for reading my project!
