I have discovered that my computer cannot keep up with the demands that online learning entails. In order to help my students learn about new concepts I need to have the ability to have many windows open on my computer. Through many forms of media, games, and stories I have attempted to keep my students engaged in online learning. The students seemed to grasp the new concepts that were being presented and they would stay involved and then ....crash. My computer would freeze and I would have to move to plan B to keep the lesson moving ahead. Luckily Kindergarten students are resilient and can learn with the teacher as she tries to keep the lesson moving. This teacher would like to move ahead with the lesson without having to cajole her computer to complete the task she is requiring of it. If the new HP computer gets purchased with your help, perhaps lessons would go a little smoother.
