Currently, my students are encouraged to sit at tables and chairs all day and many are struggling to stay focused. My goal is to provide them with a variety of seating choices so they have an option to choose what works best for them as an individual student. By giving my students more seating choices it will help empower them to make better choices and become more successful in the classroom. Having choices helps them become 21 Century learners. Through research, I have seen fantastic results from classrooms with open seating options for their students. I know my students would benefit as well, and I can't wait to see their excitement, as well as engagement, increase with our new seating options
