Every student needs to improve their health. What better way to do this than to simultaneously help feed someone in a different part of the world! These power activity trackers teaches my students to be kind-hearted, charitable children because every time they take a step to get healthy, they earn points that ultimately turn into UNICEF delivering food to malnourished children around the world. These activity trackers make my students more aware of the movement of their bodies. Getting their "wiggles" out makes them more focused when they com into the classroom and they are ready to learn. Thus, ultimately improving their academics.
