The new Utah SEEd standards will bring a whole new dimension to teaching science. The new standards make current material obsolete to this grade and require different materials to support the new standards. These materials will be used to help students have a hands-on experience and will be used to pilot the new standards this spring in preparation for next year's roll-out of the standards. They will be learning about electricity, wave and sound, sky patterns and the Utah environments. New materials will help implement the new SEed standards in STEM challenges designed for maximum learning. They will experience first hand working as a team to build a windmill, have sound travel through water and air and explore mathematics.
