I have six students, three boys and three girls, in a Multiple Disability class. Three of the students are visually impaired; all six are in wheelchairs due to birth defects or a traumatic brain injury. They range in age from 14 to 17. They have profound physical disabilities, as well as, cognitive impairments. Primarily, they are non-verbal. My students attend a school specifically designed for students with special needs.
