The Friendly Frogs have the opportunity to have recess each day, either outside or in the classroom. With this being my first year as a third grade teacher, my recess game choices are limited. Most of the games we currently have are broken, or worn out because I purchased them at a donation store. Wouldn't it be great if they could have the opportunity to play with brand new, fun, and educational toys? I am looking for both outside and inside games, like puzzles, play doh, and legos that will spark my students' creativity. I also chose games that will support our curriculum, such as an interactive globe and puzzle of our Earth. During our expedition block, we studied children in other countries that do not have access to books, which has tied into learning about continents and oceans. These games will make those lessons come alive! My students can learn to respect each other through cooperative play, be responsible by taking care of our brand new items, and persevere by using their imagination. Please help support my project, it would make us very "hoppy!"
