Fun Friday is a new positive behavior incentive program at our school that allows my students to take responsibility for their behaviors and create positive learning environments. Students earn Fun Friday participation by meeting weekly behavior goals then spend time playing reward games each Friday afternoon. All students want to be rewarded for their positive behavior and the contributions they make to class. My students need more Fun Friday reward games because our current supplies are limited. All of the games requested will provide learning benefits to my students. The Math games will help improve Math skills in a fun and engaging way. The Bananagrams, individual Scrabble-type games, will help enhance spelling skills. Blink, Spot It, and Red Light, Green light will increase visual perception, reflexes, and strategic matching skills. Checkers will increase concentration and wit. Cobra Paw, a tile snatching game, will create and increase "Ninja-like reflexes, sharp recognition skills, and mental fortitude." The Wooden Stacking Blocks are the students' favorite. They use this game to increase their strategy skills as well as their creativity and have often requested more sets to enjoy. These additional reward supplies that are both fun and educational will enhance my students' desire for success and make Fun Friday FABULOUS. Please help me brighten their Fun Fridays and give them more of the rewards that they deserve for their hard work!
