My students would benefit from having a projector in our classroom so they are able to view the images of common items that they lack the basic vocabulary for such as, “ladder, kite, chimney, and whale”. They would also be able to view educational videos on snowstorms or tornados. The only technology we currently have in my classroom is my 14 inch school issued laptop or my personal cellphone. Although we make good use of the technology materials we have, it is extremely difficult to watch a video on “what happens to trash once it goes into a recycle bin”, on a 14 inch screen with 18 students crammed together in front of that small screen.
