The items I am requesting for my students will help make a difference in learning the skills needed to read. My students have learned their letters and sounds and are so excited to put their knowledge to work reading. The Leveled Books will allow me to have enough books for guided reading groups. The students get so excited when they can read a book! The love to borrow my books to practice at home. The color and pictures on the pages draw them into the book. The books are on their level and have the sight words we are learning in class. The literacy games are perfect for practice during literacy workstations and match the skills we are working on next in class. The students don't realize they are working when it is in a game form like beginning, middle, and ending sound game.
