My students have the opportunity to openly sit where they want in the classroom, while they complete their work throughout the day. Flexible seating options will support my students in choosing the seating arrangement that will help them focus better, so they can be more engaged in their work. Movement is a helpful tool to support students in maintaining focus. As state assessments are quickly approaching, my students will greatly benefit from being able to move their bodies around, without having to move away from the assessments they are focusing on. I believe my students will truly benefit from flexible seating options, as they will be engaged and focused in what they are learning, while also maintaining comfort.
