The students of our school have been learning to code in technology class using Scratch and Code.Org. A classroom set of Makey Makey kits would allow us to collaborate with the art teacher to create custom computer art controllers for their coded video games. This project combines computer science, art, design into a STEAM based creative activity. Students will design a video game controller in art class that , with the Makey Makey technology, will allow them to control a student generated video game design in technology class. This project is a collaboration between my classroom and the art classroom at our school.
