My students would benefit from having tablets in the classroom to work on their letter and number recognition, as well as, letter sounds and counting. They will not only use games but also programs to help trace and enhance their writing abilities. In our classroom, we practice listening and speaking daily using cooperative learning strategies. These tablets will help my students learn their high-frequency words and begin to read. With these tablets the children would be able to record themselves reading books on the tablet. This would help them to better their pronunciation of words and understanding of sentence structure.
