My project is to build a leveled library for my students. I want them to be able to pick books they find interesting from our classroom library. We use a reading workshop model in my classroom. This year is my first year teaching 3rd grade and the books that I currently have are old and falling apart. Previously I taught kindergarten and those books are way too easy for my third graders. In order for my students to grow as readers they need to read books on their reading level and unfortunately I don’t have many options. I am requesting books in hopes to fill my classroom with great literature and fill my students heart with a love for reading. Thank you in advance to anyone who donates to my classroom project.
