After receiving new students from Puerto Rico I would like to implement new literacy centers and innovating chairs in the classroom to make their new learning experience more exciting. I plan to use this wobble chairs in their computer center. Research shows that students can concentrate better when they’re allowed to fidget and these awesome chairs will allow students to rock in their seats. To help my students succed academically I should combine ordinary reading and writing lessons with kinesthetic activities. The reading and writing resource materials will help my students develop foundational reading skills such as identifying letter sounds, identifying syllables in words, rhyming, also build sentences and write stories. Students will use these resources in collaborative groups and independent work. Let’s provide this students the tools they need for this adventure!
