During hurricane Harvey, our school was flooded and I lost 90% of my supplies for PE. We have been resilient in our efforts to borrow and help make PE a success this year. We are now planning our end of the year field day celebration. To help us be successful there are many things that we will be needing. We have a full day set up of games and activities to keep our kids moving. We use the bean bags to play toss games and for relay races by balancing bean bags on our heads! The rubber frogs are used for Leap Frog. The students will try to toss their frog into a bucket filled with water. For Dragons Tail, we will use the scarves. They put a scarf in their pocket and try to take away a each other’s scarf. The cones are essential in setting boundaries for our students. My students and teachers look forward to this day to cheer each other on and make lasting memories. We have races and competitions between classes. It truly is one of the best days of the year!
