The yoga mats and yoga instructional learning materials will help me provide our students yoga through teacher directed P.E.I already began this project by have purchasing books, and a few supplies in my classroom. I really need help by making sure every child has their own mat, a space to practice yoga and mindfulness. Currently we are using chairs and the floor to practice our yoga. The discussion on how behavior have increased in our schools and seem to be getting in the way of students learning, by teaching our children to practice mindfulness and yoga, they are given skills to self regulate their emotions to interact with others and challenges in life, in a healthy way.
