As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. They deserve every opportunities that is available to them. They are unique and that's what make them special. My students are bilingual and some of the families were impacted by Harvey. Some of them lost everything and had to start all over. They are always eager to learn new information. "Success is no accident.
