My overall population for my school is high poverty. The students have parents that can't read and are not able to help their children learn to read. Children need to learn to become lifelong readers and making reading fun will instill in them the importance of reading. I teach second grade and am blessed to have 17 eager beavers that LOVE to read. I want to continue to provide materials that they are familiar with and love to manipulate.

About my class
