We will finally be able to have in class research based projects in which the students will be able to use the computers in groups or individually for researching many different projects. More than half of my students do not have computers at home and they will look forward to coming to school to learn with the assistance of technology. I have a few projects already planned in science, social studies and reading. The students will be able research various topics and write about them. They will also learn about citing resources which will help prepare them for higher level learning. It will also help them learn how to research educational topics that they are passionate about. They will have the world at their fingertips!
