These headphones will be used in our computer lab during technology/library hour. Our emerging and improving readers will significantly benefit from this intentional use of audio. Many online learning sites incorporate sound into their programs. For reading in particular, a crucial element of learning how to read is being able to listen to the words as the reader follows along. Headphones serve a dual purpose. Not only do they bring sound to the individual student, they also block out noisy distractions. They truly are a great tool to keep students focused and allow them to stay on task. I can't wait to get these to our students!
